A friend and I were being tourists in the area. We wanted to take a break and sit down to have coffee. We found this place. it's a small coffee shop located in the busy yet one of the small streets in the Galata area. We didn't realise this coffee shop was known as a tv series, even though there were people there taking pictures to dress up like the characters. I didn't drink anything - only had the Turkish delights provided with the coffee my friend ordered. She thought the coffee was decent.

I visited Otantik Cafe, and the experience was great. There was only one worker handling everything, and he was amazing—very polite and provided excellent service. The cafe itself brought back a lot of memories, making the visit even more special. While the prices are a bit high, they are still more affordable compared to other cafes in the area. Overall, it’s a cozy place with a good atmosphere.

Cozy coffee and cake shop in the bustling streets of Istanbul’s Galata area, right next to the impressive Galata Tower. Don’t be surprised if people stop by to take a picture of the venue (to the slight annoyance of the friendly owner) as it gained popularity from a Turkish TV series.
